HYMER expert workshop

Professional users regularly gather in Wangen to test and compare ladders and towers in a relaxed atmosphere. What the participants have in common is that all these carpenters, painters, plasterers, interior decorators and industrial workers regularly use ladders or mobile towers in their everyday work and know exactly what matters to them in this respect. Together, they thoroughly scrutinise structural components such as hinges, joints or self-locking hooks, discuss their advantages and disadvantages in real-life applications and exchange advice on the safe and ergonomic use of these tools.

The underlying idea of the HYMER expert meeting is that the experience of professional skilled tradespersons and users in handling these vertical access aids is a valuable source of ideas for us as a manufacturer of high-quality ladders and mobile towers. Because of this, our designers are always present at the Expert Gathering and review the suggestions for the feasibility of their implementation.

Participation is rewarding for the users as well. Christoph Huber, a carpenter at the Eller & Kempter carpentry company, had taken part many times before. He views the round of experts as an event from which all parties benefit. “The knowledge transfer between us as users and Hymer-Leichtmetallbau is a real win-win situation.
